Gun Safety
This is just something to scare you. Lake was playing with his dart gun… After watching Rachel pull it back and shoot it once, he started loading it, cocking it, and shooting it all by himself. He figured out, ON HIS OWN, how to cock it back using his feet, because it was too hard for him to do with just one hand. SCARY. For all of you - you know who you are - who think a gun is too hard to figure out for a kid… stop kidding yourselves. Keep your guns locked up or get them out of the house.

So scary! I don’t think I could ever sleep if we had a gun in our home. Are you guys still coming to Dallas next month? It turns out my family is coming into town to visit their old friends and go to the game, so I’m not certain there will be room in our little home. There is a possibility they will get a hotel, but they’re not certain. Let’s keep in touch… but Ben and I hope to go to SA in October to check out Sea World during the Halloween season. The employees there say it’s fun for the kids.
